沖縄県沖縄市出身。幼少期は父の仕事の関係で東京都東村山市の長閑な環境で育つ。 小学5年生の時に沖縄市コザへ戻り、学生時代を過ごす。その後、東京女子体育短期大学へ進学し、部活動に打ち込む日々を送る。帰沖後はエステティシャンやアパレル店員として働き、その後10年程小学校教諭としても経験を積む。 20代で趣味として始めたダンスを通じて、沖縄の多様なミックスカルチャーを楽しみ、30歳でサーフィンを始めたことが転機となる。沖縄の美しい海や自然の偉大さに改めて気づき、「この海を未来に残したい」との想いが芽生える。自分にできることを模索する中で、友人との出会いをきっかけに、2人の想いを形にすべく2022年に「jiyukimama」を設立。 その後、さらに活動を広げるため2024年 9月、「株式会社 MEGURe」を設立。沖縄の自然を楽しみながら、より多くの人々に「環境配慮のハードルを下げるきっかけづくり」を届ける活動に取り組んでいる。

Born in Okinawa City, Okinawa Prefecture, she spent her early childhood in the tranquil environment of Higashimurayama City, Tokyo, due to her father’s work. She returned to Koza, Okinawa City, in the fifth grade, where she spent her school years. Later, she attended Tokyo Women’s Junior College of Physical Education, dedicating herself to club activities during her time there. After returning to Okinawa, she worked as an esthetician and an apparel store clerk, then gained around 10 years of experience as an elementary school teacher. Her passion for dance, which she started as a hobby in her 20s, allowed her to enjoy Okinawa’s vibrant mix of cultures. A turning point came when she took up surfing at the age of 30. This deepened her appreciation for the beauty of Okinawa’s sea and the greatness of its nature, sparking a desire to 'preserve this ocean for future generations.' While exploring what she could do, her encounter with a friend inspired her to shape their shared vision. In 2022, she established 'jiyukimama' to bring that vision to life. To expand her efforts further, she founded MEGURe Inc. in September 2024. Today, she focuses on activities that lower the barriers to environmental awareness, sharing the joy of Okinawa’s natural beauty and engaging more people in sustainable practices.
